Starting with my trip over the railroad tracks where fall's New England favorite, asters, are in full bloom to Harvard Medical School where I've been working, to dinner with Larry: here was my day in pictures.
This mosaic is in the lobby of Morgan Hall at Harvard Business School. Having just spent the past few weeks on the peaceful campus there and gazing at this ancient mosaic every day I wanted to pay tribute to it with a photo. It's called the Tethys Mosaic and was created in 350 A.D. at Antioch, a Roman city. The sculpture is just something they have on the grounds that I enjoyed.
I had a day pass to the pool at Hotel Indigo in Newton. They have cabanas and it's salt water. We had a lunch of fish tacos, went for a swim, read a bit and gazed at the sky. A nice note to the end the summmer on.
It's been awhile since I've posted and Samantha came back from Israel with such great photos I couldn't resist cheating a bit and posting some. The light does look different.
